Welcome To CAMPRO 2011

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful

O ye who believe! Enter into Islam whole-heartedly; and follow not the footsteps of the evil one; for he is to you an avowed enemy. (Surah Al -Baqarah: 208)

Verily, Allah the Almighty has sent al-Quran al-Kareem as a book of guidance which clearly defines, describes and distinguishes between right and wrong, vice and virtue, and truth and falsehood. Adopting the path of truth and virtue is a must for Muslims so that they may be guided, and so that they may achieve salvation. In short, Islam must be practiced whole-heartedly, as a way of life.

Unfortunately, many of Muslims nowadays often choose to be ignorant in certain matters in practicing Islam. They opt for the surface rather than diving deeper into the Islamic worldview of it. Some would consider his action as truthful, when it is actually not; whilst other would judge a deed as untruthful, when Islam already has the guidance to do it the right way.

In addressing this situation, SRC, in collaboration with various Kulliyyah-Based Societies (KBS), Mahallah Representative Committees (MRC) and other clubs in this campus felt the responsibility to organise a programme namely as Campus Dakwah Project 2011 (CAMPRO ’11). With the theme ‘Islam; My Only Way of Life’, it aims to give clearer understanding on Islamic way of life especially in culture and entertainment, economy, social and humanity issues.

This is certainly a vital action in order to raise a new wave of university generation that is made up of full time Muslims who think, act, speak, and decide in compliance with the Qur'an and Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
